In Game Name: JdawgerWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: MainNorth ServerShort title for your suggestion: Make towns cheaper on MNWhat are you suggesting: For at least the additional towns (Towns 3+), make them cheaper on MainNorth (like 25-50% cheaper)Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: When was the last time you saw someone build a town on MN? Similar to how Homestead Act had incentives for having land in areas that were previously not established, have MN have cheaper town options. This would work best for the Additional Towns as they are just straight up paying for land. It would help diversify the server and make it so MainNorth is just not a dead server that people go on for spawners or to use their magic/boost free.Other information: Maybe we can extend it to Mayor & President too, but since those are tied to ranks, it could be tricky. Also, this could incentivize people to buy more travel bags again if they are working on both serversPlugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
I strongly disagree with this idea. Making it easier for higher-rank players to buy more towns would just result in an exaggeration of this monopoly game that's already taking place on the server. I suggest that you make additional towns more expensive for higher-rank players, so that it will be fair for the new players.
personally i dont actually think this would help populate mn. most people buying additional towns are doing so for big projects which are really just for show, so people might come to look but thatd be all. I dont play mn because the quests dont work over there.
Expanding the quests over there, even with a 15% reduction in XP and rewards, is still a worthwhile move. Why? Because it adds variety and engagement to the gameplay experience. Players crave fresh content—new challenges, new locations, and new storylines—and expanding quest zones delivers just that. Even with slightly lower rewards, the opportunity to explore new areas, test different strategies, and break the monotony of grinding the same quests is something most players would welcome. The -15% cut in XP and items isn't necessarily a drawback either; it helps balance progression, prevents power-leveling exploits, and encourages players to focus on the experience, not just the rewards. It also opens up a space for side quests, lore-driven content, or even group-based objectives that reward teamwork rather than just raw stats. Ultimately, gameplay is about more than just numbers—it’s about immersion, exploration, and fun. Expanding the quests supports all three.
If quests or jobs work over in main north id also work on those over there. But I think they don’t because it was buggy https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/quests-re-roll-after-server-change.226347/#post-1164823
