The Town of the Month isn't just a beauty contest; it’s a recognition of the towns that actually make EcoCityCraft shine. This program is designed to highlight communities that provide real utility, solid infrastructure, and a genuine welcome to our newest players.
If your town is selected, it becomes the immediate spawn point for every brand-new player joining the server. You are effectively the face of ECC for your duration as a featured town.

How it Works(top)

Administration will hand-pick a Town of the Month roughly six times a year. Each winner holds the "Global Spawn" title for about 6–8 weeks. When a selection period is coming up, we’ll open community nominations for towns we should examine—but the final call rests with Administration based on who is actually hitting our standards.

Town of the Month Rewards:(top)

Earning Town of the Month is a massive contribution to the server, and the rewards reflect that:

• Town of the Month Prestige:
  • 1x Prestige awarded to the Official Owner.
• Global Spawn Status:
  • Two months of being the mandatory landing zone for all new players.
• Onboarding Support:
  • Two months of Staff assistance with plot management and moving players in.
• Grief & Security Coverage:
  • Two months of priority Staff support for farm decimation, grief investigations, and rollbacks.
• On-the-Ground Presence:
  • Dedicated Staff will be present in your town to help hand out plots and keep things running smoothly.

The Requirements:(top)

We don't care how "pretty" a town is if it doesn't function—but we also aren't looking for lazy builds. To even be considered, your town must have:

• Finished Aesthetic
  • We want a completed town look with a high-quality aesthetic. We are not looking for flat, low-effort "plottowns." Your town needs to look like a finished project.
• Ready-to-Go Housing
  • You need empty plots or pre-built homes that are ready for a new player to move into the second they spawn.
• A Real Economy Starter
  • You must have a semi-public farm where players with $0 can actually earn money, finish their onboarding, and start learning how the ECC economy moves.
• Stocked Player Shops
  • At least one accessible shop with a variety of basic items. We want players buying and selling, not just wandering.
• Active Leadership
  • You need to be online, active and actually willing to talk to Builders. If you aren't interested in helping to mentor new users, don't nominate your town.
• Easy Navigation
  • The town needs to be "exploratory friendly".

Nomination Rules(top)

There are a few rules regarding nomination of towns as well as a few rules surrounding towns post-feature.

• Only the official owner of the town may nominate the town when nominations are open.
  
• Hiring others to build for you is permitted, this prestige is not limited to just YOUR build skills.
• While only you can only earn this Prestige for one town - you can nominate a complex of towns if your town is multiple towns designed to function together. The number of towns does not impact your chances of selection.
• Once selected a town cannot be chosen as Town of The Month again.

Staff Support - The Works!(top)

When your town is the Global Spawn, the traffic is high. We don't expect you to handle the maintenance alone. Staff will provide:

• Quick Evictions
  • We will streamline LWC support to clear out inactive plots fast, keeping your housing inventory fresh for the next wave of players.
• Farm & Town Protection
  • If your public farm gets decimated, we’ll handle the investigation and the rollback so you don't have to spend your life replanting.
• Active Management
  • Staff will be on-site to answer questions and help you manage the influx of players so you can focus on building your community.
