LIFE INSURANCE: Life insurance is where, if you die, i pay you money equal to what your equipment was worth. If you equipment is worth over 26k, I only pay you half. If your equipment is worth over 65k, I only pay you 1/3 (33%). If your equipment is worth over 115k, I only pay you 10%. And finally if its worth over 215k, i only pay you 5%. This stops scammers from lying about dying, or purposely dying with mswords or eff 7 picks, just to get money for other stuff. Life insurance is only 7k for builders, 13k for residents, 20k for mayors, and 30k for presidents. Its a one time payment, and lasts forever. If you pvp or go into the nether to mine, its costs 5k more for all ranks. If you don't, its the normal price. Also, there are some conditions, if you die more than once a week, each time you die, the price you get back, is either 5k less, or 10% less, depending on the situation. This is so people do not get reckless and decide it doesnt matter if you die. This is exactly what progressive the insurance company does. The better you record is, the more you save. HORSE INSURANCE: Horse insurance covers if your horse is stolen or goes missing. It is very popular among all ranks, and I highly recommend it. I have had numerous investigators tell me that 50% of their jobs are about horses being stolen. If you want to protect your horse, then buy horse insurance. Horse insurance is 8k for every 2 horses you want to cover. If you want to cover 3 horses, its 16k. It applies to all ranks. (WARNING) I do not pay back the money that your horse is worth if it happens too frequently. I will be the judge of this. Also when I do pay you the money to get a new horse, I must see that you have taken action to protect your horse/horses more securely this time. If horse is not in a secure area and all entrances are locked, you will not be compensated. HOUSE INSURANCE: House insurance covers if you house is grieved. House insurance is most popular among builders and residents, but others do buy it. If your house is grieved I cover the costs of the grief. House insurance's cost varies depending on how much your house is worth. If not, you will not be compensated. EVIDENCE TERMS: To receive your money after dying or after being grieved or having something stolen, I need evidence, such as screenshots. ie: Right after you buy horse insurance, make sure you take a picture of your horse, and how he is contained. Then, when and if your horse is stolen or goes missing, take a screenshot of him not there. Also ask neighbors if they saw anything happen, and/or hire an investigator, and have him tell me who stole it. ie: For life insurance, if you are pvping, take a screenshot of you and your stuff, before you cross the line into the pvp zone. If you die, before you click "respawn," take a screenshot of that. Also pm the person that killed you and get them saying "I did just kill you" then screenshot that if you can. This business is a scam. Twice already, he has weaseled his way out of compensating me for insurance. I wouldn't recommend trusting him.
that's how insurance companies work. They refuse to pay you and hide behind their lawyers an if you do manage to get something out of them it's not nearly what the cost of the damage was.
Thats not what I meant when talking about progressive.... I mean life every car accident u have, the price u get back is lower. So every time you die on minecraft the price u get back is lower.
You can't get evidence every time. Like with death holes in the mining world, lava, and many more ways. Aside from that, you could say an eff 5 pick is worth $50, or something like that.
When you die, take a pic off the screen with all the stuff around u, before u click respawn. An eff 7 pick is worth like 40k or something like that if u die with it. The higher the item costs, the less percentage u get back. This stops scammers and being reckless. 40k is better than nothing...
An eff 7 pick is worth around 400k, not 40k. It doesn't do anything to prevent scammers, if they have proper proof, then they should get a total refund. The only thing it stops is your balance from becoming low. If you fall in lava, you can't exactly get a picture of the stuff around you, same with pvp.
LOL! People can bring nothing with them, find some lava, jump in, and say they died with prot 4 armor, and an eff 7 pick...
