Saying things in Global that were meant for Staff channel, or being my extremely goofy and weird self in Global when I meant to be in Local... (It happens often enough and bad enough, there isn't just one most embarrassing moment for me. xD) Even just being in a Global channel in Ventrilo (not so much TS3) and forgetting I was, while I was on Skype and using CTRL for other games.

When I had all my kits and was killed by a builder with no armour and a fist, I was stuck in a cobweb and literally couldn't hit him xD
It doesn't say that it has to be ECC-related but oh well. My biggest ECC embarrassment was losing a highly enchanted pick after falling off a large building in a town I couldn't get back to. I flew on top of the building, logged off, came back back on some time later and forgot that fly had reset and thus I jumped to my death. Non-ECC: I sprained my ankle once snowboarding while trying to impress a girl. Oh the things we do for love
I was going to say "When I tried to use anvils for the first time. I gathered a lot of iron together, researched the recipe, and crafted an anvil as a resident. I then found out I couldn't place it because I didn't have the donation feature. <fail> Then Ii paid for someone to place it for me, and subsequently found out I couldn't use it either. <double fail> As a resident, I felt like such an idiot. A useless anvil just sitting there in my home. Every day it would laugh at me and make fun of me." But after reading the post above mine, I suddenly remembered that a few months ago (near the previous reset), I just finished fortuning a ton of ore. (over 40k exp worth) and was running through the wild. I jumped off a cliff/hill. I thought I had fly on and was immune to fall damage... I was wrong. I became so stunned when I died. I mean shocked, wide eyed, open mouthed, staring type of stunned. I gathered my wits and returned to find all my items and a nice 53 xp orb waiting for me. Actually, while the second one was my biggest fail, I think the first one I was more embarrassed about because when I asked in chat what was going on (both times), everyone else seemed to know the anvil thing but me.

I would have to say my most embarrassing moment was when I was translating some foul language for staff and I accidentally posted it in Global lol. It was pretty bad too mind you.
Changing to /ch alert to announce something, then forgetting to change back when asked something in staff by andrew... Almost certain that happened to me & others multiple times when we actually used alert often, or I did because I used to promote voting. I got really second-hand embarrassment when a Mod (cant say their name as they're banned), their first day getting banned, he was complaining about a user bothering him, in a pretty vulgar way, and meant to put it in staff chat... Instead the vulgar sentence got put right out in the open of global chat lool.
Banning a player for advertising when he said the ECC IP. Luckily there was an SMod on at the time to unban him LOL
I think my most embarrassing moment, looking back on it, was in my ban appeal in December 2013. I was a nub to the forums and didn't know what tags were, so I called them "twitter handles." Besides that, the usual wrong chats have been pretty embarrassing, although party chat can get quite interesting at times...
