PS4 is $100 cheaper than the Xbox One PS4 will have NO restrictions against used games PS4 You can trade with friends without restrictions You can only trade xbox one games with friends once and if they have been on your friend list for over 30 days You will have to connect to the internet once every 24 hours on the xbox one, this means if your internet goes down for more than 24 hours then you cannot play any games, including single player.
I personally like Xbox. Then again I haven't touched it in about a year... I play on PC mostly. Also, I wanted the Xbox One to be a little bit better. From the first announcement, it just seemed like a voice controlled remote.
Microsoft's goal is to create a entertainment system that rules the living room. I just want a machine that can play games. Plus the Xbox One has a price tag on Amazon of £600 which in dollars is around 900. Although this pricetag is just a placeholder, why would they set it so high.
It's like with any new technology item. People want it. Why do you think Apple prices their items so high? People will buy anything that they think is cool for whatever price as long as they have the money.

Xbox One has been slaughtered. And I looooove it. After years of all my friends saying Microsoft is better then Sony, now if they say it they are lying to themselves and they know it ;D
Though I own both PS3 and Xbox consoles, I only ever play on the Xbox while the PS3 is just sitting in the living room collecting dust. But I am sad to where the new Xbox is going. Can't say I hate/love until I have tried it for myself.
So I've been speaking to xboxsupport on twitter and they said that at e3 they were using high power pc with gtx 780s to showcase their games. Whereas the ps4 used dev kits that gave a extremely fair representation of the console.
XBox One seems way too restricted for my liking. Apparently if you get banned you lose about everything? PS4 it is!
Turns out this is false, this was a mistake by xboxsupport on twitter, they were referring to the xbox 360
Xbox One Kinect is always on, too... Audio and visual. Could put something in front of it, but you cannot muffle the sound or anything. Privacy with everything else is bad enough as it is. Oh, can't forget Microsoft sending employees to the Wii U thing and causing problems. I mean seriously... Trying to sell the Xbox One during another system's thing? :/ Most everything about the Xbone is really unappealing to me... I have never owned any Xbox or Playstation, but if for any reason I want to buy a new system (of those two), it would be the PS4, by far.
