...I made a town that had one ginormous bed-and-breakfast / hotel with large rooms people could buy / rent? My idea is to make a large building of something under one of those themes/ideas, or maybe even two - and they would have big rooms and a couple small ones for people to buy or rent out. Bought rooms you'd likely be able to decorate yourself. There would also be other rooms that aren't for sale/rent, but would be more visual; kitchen, bathrooms, closets, spooky basement, old attic, old, hidden dungeons, doctor's office/room, dining hall, party hall/room/club rooms, etc. It seems like it would be fun if enough roleplay-y or silly people had a place to stay in there. Outside I'd probably add things like a garden-maze, lake, and some buildings people could make as shops as such. Would be Resident+ only, which is why I posted here. xP Would anyone be interested in something like that (either to join or to help)?
I probably would make it role-play. :b Those kinds of towns tend to be active... Or have a better chance, at least. It keeps people doing something there.
Moof, I will help you make this town, if I could be co.mayor! What about an medieval styled place with allready made houses?
I, myself, think the original idea is best. But medieval is somewhat interesting, I would rather see moof's idea.
You still can. D: if I do this, I'm making sure it will be pretty different. I want to have a more bed and breakfast style, and it'd be like a "mansion" or log-cabin look, unless people want otherwise. c.c

It will be a long time before I even have money for another town. And if I go with this idea, it is probably going to be much different than what you guys are imagining.
Moofink, if you are needing help, financially, I believe i may help you out, unless you are the type of person that likes to "do it themselves", anyways, I have a large sum of money sitting around and don't know what to do with it... and this seems like a great idea, to invest in, how much is it for a second town again?
30k for President, and I don't even remember how much for the actual additional town number one. :/ I do like help, I can just be very picky and snippy when someone does something wrong. D: I'd actually be willing to get workers (preferably free labor-- lol), I would just need to frame everything out and have an example wall/whatever else that they can follow. Or have them do... paths or something. o-o
