This post is so you can describe how much of a fail Microsoft is with their "amazing OS" with it's ugly "metro" design. MICROSOFT YOU SCREWED UP
Windows 8 is not bad, it's actually quite nice when you get used to it. The only problems are backwards compatibility with old software, or software specifically made for windows 7/vista (I know of only 2 applications with this problem) and updating from windows 7 will break all of the things, especially on laptops with custom drivers. But if you get a laptop with win 8 already installed then there is no problem. DON'T BE A HATER, BUT IF YOU ARE ONE, MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE ARGUMENTS.
I agree with Kuke. There can be some compatibility issues. Overall, it's not too bad, but I don't think they should have moved towards the "touchscreen" part. I love the start up time. <3
I just feel it ruins the PC platform.... Its like an iPad, but on a laptop. It kind of makes me sad.... I prefer windows 7, linux, or Mac OS (im using OS now)
