I play single player a lot in creative with 1.6.4 and I have these mods installed: I was wondering if any of these mods are banned from the server? I really like the macro mod I recently installed and I read somewhere that it is allowed on the server. which got me thinking about other mods and whether or not they are allowed as well. To be safe, I've been using my regular minecraft account (no mods) when playing on the server because I didnt know which mods were banned. The Schematica mod is amazing. IDK if you guys have ever used it or not, but I honestly use it alot. Especially when I'm building a town and I need to make the same house over and over again. The painting selection is a nice little feature, but I can easily work without it. I cant see how any of these mods would hurt the server "economically" or "produce lag". They functionality of these mods are mainly used to help build things. They won't give the player any special advantage in game nor will they effect anyone else's gameplay. I read and re-read section 6 in the server rules and I cant see how this might conflict. However, in the case that I am wrong, I wanted to post this up first before I started using these mods on the server so someone can warn me before I do something that is against the rules. Im not sure if all those are allowed or not. Macro is but I don't know about others. I would just make a profile with no mods for now. With 1.6.4 launcher is easy to switch back and forth.
A simple way to get a fairly accurate guide is to think "why would I get banned for this" if you can't find a reason then it's probably fine, the only exception for this are certain minimap mods (and yes, macro mod is fine )

I bet that's right, and it's worth mentioning that one of the perks of the ExtCreations+ feature is painting selection. So it's available, just expensive.
Thank you! Im really glad that Schematics will work! I tend to get carried away in creative mode. I've made some pretty awesome things that I would love to remake on the server!
Just make sure the schematics aren't too big, if a schematic is too big then it could potentially crash your client (happened to me twice)
Ya, Its happened to me before when trying to hold an entire town in a schematic. lol I've had to do 50x50 sections at a time and just piece it up. Soon to be mayor! xD
