I was recently griefed at my pumpkin farm in the wild, and I understand that if it's in the wild, nothing can be done. I think that griefing shouldn't be allowed anywhere, and should be a ban-able offence. I don't see any reason why a Builder can't start out in the wild, unharmed, without being griefed. All I really want to do, is rank up so I can contribute to the economy, which is the point of this whole server. I can't do that while my farm is being griefed out in the wild. Some other Builders don't have enough to buy a plot in a town, so they actually have to build in the wild.
Nothing can be done for the reason because nothing can be done, there's over 75+ active builders on Ecc, with griefs allowed in a 12kx12k area it would be insane to track it all, and pretty much be impossible.
As Jets said, it would be impossible to track every bit of wild grief that happened. Also, having Towns as a grief free zone to build in gives players incentive to actually want to build in a protected town.
Checking every grief that happens in the wild would be impossible. People already can't keep up with their own towns, then give us a lot to do just with that.. Wild is wild; griefing is wild, unruly, and uncontrollable.
