Under general forum rules, the current definition of necroing is I would really like a better definition of the time and I bet it would help a lot of people worry less about if the comment the just posted is necro. Now obviously we all know that posting on threads from a year ago is necro but if it was posted 2 months ago and is on, say, the third page and the topic is still relevant I want to know that if I post there I will not be warned about necroing. I hope everyone feels my concern. ~sick24 (P.S. Just so everyone doesn't ask me I am still on the Wiki Team it's just that this is an article that has high permission setting so only Andrew or Skylexia can edit it)
How would you better define it? I'll admit it's a bit of a vague definition but I was being complained at that necroing wasn't actually in the rules so I popped it in real quick.
I might word it as "Necroing- the act of posting on a thread that is off of the first page of the forums, the thread has been over 45 days inactive, and its content is no longer relevant." Or something like that. I would really appreciate a exact time of days since "several months" is a little vague.
I'm gonna discuss it with a couple people and I'll update the rule either later today or tomorrow. Is on the to-do list. :3
