Hi! Today I got on, and glanced in chat to see a lot of Iron for sale, so I bid, and ended up winning, so me and amwisawesome went behind one of the big pixelart people and started to trade. I payed for the Iron, and He threw the Iron. It went behind me, and 7amoodw ran over and picked it up. We asked him to give it back, and he stalled, then said he had sold it already. I asked a mod to help, but all I got was " There is nothing I can do about it ". WHY!? I rightfully payed for it and didn't get it. My seller was amwisawesome, and you can ask him, cause he's my witness! I didn't get the Iron I payed for, but amwisawesome was nice enough to give me a saddle because of the problem after I told him to keep the money. I don't have much money, and I wanted to be nice, sooo. Why can't u help?! I don't even know why I wanna vote right now, and why should I? I know I'm probably overreacting, but still, If your players aren't happy with the server, why should they vote? That is all I have to say, so thanks! I cannot provide the name of the mod who told me this, but still.
Hello, The fact of the matter is all items on the ground are fair game. Why? Well we cannot prove who owned what was dropped, it's intended owner, etc. So, legally an item dropped on the ground can be stolen during the trade by a 3rd party and no action can be taken. Further, there is a safer way to trade. First of all if you insist on using the ground drop method, never ever do so at spawn. Spawn is the number one place to get your stuff stolen because of the number of people. If you need a fair trade area, PM a staff membe, we are generally more than happy to help you trade safely. Next if you don't want to have to worry about that kind of stuff use a locked chest. You could even do this in the wild surrounding spawn. Just plop a chest down, do /lock (other players name). Now only you two can open that chest. Ask them to pay you or vice versa then put the item in. Also, I always recommend screenshots of every trade agreement, deal, and trade. Anyways, the point is there are safe ways to trade but dropping items on the ground is not the way to go. We cannot enforce that type of trade if a third party steals the items. I am sorry but this complaint will be dismissed and I hope my explanation was adequate. Revanrose6 Complaint Dismissed -nothing we can do
