the /who command shows who is online. My OCD is asking me to ask you to change it so that builders are at the top, followed by ranks in order (resident, mayor, president, tycoon, moderator, Supermoderator, Developer, ANDREWKM) This way we can easily see the highers ranking players that are online, because currently Tycoons and Andrew are at the top, residents at the bottom, and order = fail
I don't think it has anything to do with preference, I believe its alphabetical order, and Tycoon is first because of the "*". And this would be something that bukkit would have to change I believe, so not much ECC can do.
I would like an order change... I would also like a /who <rank> and /list <rank>. Would be amazing if I could just /who presidents or /list mayors.
Yeah, a plugin could over-ride this, but sense we have a huge focus on optimization, we generally don't add whole new plugins for minor changes. To be honest, now that you can scroll up and down chat, I don't feel like /list rank is as needed as it was. Though I guess it could help in some situations.
The current list is provided by Essentials, andrewkm and i discussed this a while ago, and i added it to the feature list, and allocated a coder to work on it as his first project. He never finished it, and hasn't really done any coding since. Maybe kuke wants to code it?
JamieSinn, to clarify, I was talking about kuke coding some changes for Essentials, not creating yet another plugin for ECC. Essentials features need to be highly customisable, not hard coded like it would be in an ECC plugin.
