So I've been extensively thinking about which crop is truly the best. So I wanted to hear everyone else's opinions and please explain when you do so. I'm going to come back with some numbers on what crops make per hour, and feel free to post what you make hourly farming each crop. Please include details (I.E. Whether you have a auto clicker or not, if you fly, if you have CJB, and other variables like that). I hope we can get a good average to find out what crop truly is the best. This is my opinion, but I just want to see what other people make on other crops so I can be prepared if they dark time comes where I lose my melon sword (This would be the forth time )
Personally, I prefer reeds above anything else. They require no tools (Therefore no repairs, which can be costly), and if a farm is fully grown, one reed crop is equal to a pumpkin, and they destroy at the same speed. I have made up to 20k an hour, depending on how laggy I am, or if I am not fully focused. They do not need replanting, nor do they require tilled dirt. Yes, melons may make more if you have a $350k melon sword. However, you always have that burden of having to repair it, or possibly losing it, or even accidentally breaking it. Therefore, reeds are generally the cheapest and easiest method of farming. That, of course, is just my opinion.
First time it was autoutcher (Not 100% on that, but a mod summarized the situation and came to this), the second I sold (It was a very good offer at the time, so I'm not sure if that would count as "losing" it), and the third I accidentally dropped at the grand opening of delu's spawn shop.

I see people claiming that they make 20k+/hour, I would like to see a video of it alongside what speeds they use.
You left offf mining. When I time myself I get 10k in 30 minutes (20k an hour). This includes the time spent dumping everything at username ofdeaths shop. You could make more if you sell mining goods in a shop.
I really appreciate all of you guys posting. Could you please report some hourly numbers because I would love to get a server-wide knowledge of what you can really make.
