This is a good suggestion, but in the wrong section and not because of your farm xD Now that emeralds are usable, they are worth more, hence it is easy to just trade wheat for emeralds with villagers
I agree with you, but your reasoning is a tad weak. If you really want to get it raised you are going to have to proivde some good reasons.
With emerald prices at about 100, is there profit on trading them for wheat @ $1.75? What is the villager trade rate for emeralds to wheat?
It's not a lot it's around 20-30 wheat but villager spawn eggs cost 1k and the price of emeralds will drop massively soon.
They would have to drop below $60 per emerald then right? Thats assuming wheat is at $2 a piece. Lol too lazy to do $1.75 calculation. xD
Wheat is currently the top performing crop. It is also the cheapest, most space effective farm to build. I have all the numbers on this that you could ever ask for. And you want it raised?
Wheat is fine the way it is. It is still the easiest farm to build and one of the most profitable farms, as RockDassie said.
Well you are a tycoon, do you really have a use for money anymore? xD I'm trying to gather money for Pres and my second town and now my farm is much less efficient. With a big farm, the $.50 gathers up fast. Id be happy with $1.50 even. Lol.
I was playing lotto today and i was going in two tickets then my friend clicked 6.. i lost 26k.. it was for portal and then i went and made only 5k off my wheat. I need raises. -.-

I can second this. I have a crapyastic wheat farm that is tiny compared to everyone else's and I am glad to make and estimated 6k per hour. Not counting for the melons I farm instead of afk times. Thats easily bumps it up to 10k or 12k. It's just how you make the farm. Mines water harvest and transport. Nothing fancy.

My thought about wheat prices i think they should be around 1.50 only til 1.3 ends. Thats my opinion because the massive lag causes its growth to be painfully slow. Until then i think it shouldnt be that low. Those are my thoughts about wheat now unless it was intentionally slowed.
the reason its so painfully slow can be seen by pressing f3 or fn+f3 on the mac and taking a look at the chunk updates. afk trains only need to go around in a genral sense.
