Hey ECC whats up, Do you farm to make money? if so just vote on this poll and tell me what in your opinion is the best crop to farm that makes good money. Is it melons? or maybe cocoa beans?
It all depends on your accessibility to specific tools, farms, and McMMO abilities. If you have a melon sword or pumpkin axe, those are superior. If you have access to a large wheat/potato/carrot/cocoa bean farm, that might be your best bet. IMO, nether wart is fairly weak and from my experience so is sugar cane. In general, mining is much more profitable, especially with an eff7 pickaxe. Even if you do not have access to one, mining can be an extremely profitable and fun activity on ECC!
If you don't have acces to an eff7, @SKSoccer put it the best, mining is much more fun and is superior money wise. Even a max fortune pick can make upwards to $15,000 per hour, while an eff7 can pocket around $25,000 an hour on a good day, but averages around $21,000 an hour. Overall, mining is much more profitable.
Try farming nwart with fort3. With fly it makes 14k per hour. I don't know about without fly but it still makes a lot.
I may be the odd duck here, but I vote trees. There are six varieties, each variety provides at least two outputs, and the production is sale able to players. I like the last reason most, because I know the blocks I sell will probably be going into something awesome instead of being gone forever.
