What Should I Do

Make it a little of both. I have a 60x60x13 farm that makes me tons of money, and the rest of the town is plots and other such things.

 

That's how my first town is. Exactly the same.

 

you should give it to me XD but honestlt you should make a biiig melon farm mabey 100x100 and how many levels you want and the other 100x100 space for selling plots =D

 

I would suggest making huge farms on one side and then sell plots on another side. Plots bring in steady cash, and you can sell permits to the huge farms OR farm it yourself. Darn, people will think I'm copying their words, BUT I AM NOT!!! Yup, so that's what I would do.

 

i have a 200x200 farm town. The amount of perms sold could make me an ecoleader..

 

The amount of maintenance and responsibility that comes with selling plots, IMO is not worth it if you are looking to make the most amount of money possible. I would suggest making a farm, be it private or selling perms.

 

I have 2 towns, the first has plots, of which 5 have been sold. I started building a 200x200x30 farm but have very little money and dont feel like placing a few million dirt on my own.

 

I would recommend making a massive farm below the ground and make a normal city with plots above the ground. This way you get to sell plots and have a massive farm!

 

Here is your best solution and way of income;
You buy the town, don't do anything with it for a few days. Farm, farm, farm until you get around 30k. Once you get 30k, you do a 100x100 border, and 10 pads (Layers) for builders to start off. You pay 2.5k per floor done by builders, you provide dirt, etc. You get around 10 100x100 floors and no money left. While they are building each floor, you go yourself and do the planting. This needs to be constant good and motivating work. Once your done, you have a 100x100x10 Pumpkin farm (Pumpkins is my suggestion). You sell perms for 10k each. Sell it to around 15-20 users get around 150k-200k. Once you see the 10K is not working anymore, start lowering perms. You can go as low as possible, even if it is 1k, it is still money coming in. I'd say you get around 250k. Thats 220k of profit. You then use 50k of your 250k to buy another *ocean* town, as you do not have to do any side working. You repeat this process over and over, and even you can sell the farm to one specific user when you see it is not selling anymore, and sell it for cheap for like 100k. Everyone will put their eyes on it. Boom, your rich.

 

Finally someone agrees with me xD I dont know why its so hard for other people to realize that you dont need a huge farm to make huge cahse. My farm is the equal to a 200x200x2.5 and makes me 33k A full harvest ^.^

 

If you do the math, there are actually four 100x100 spaces in the town. Think about it. 200 times 200 = 40,000. But, 100 times 100 = 10,000. And 40,000 divided by 10,000 = 4.
