This is a question to all people who have any kind of input on what actually gets done to the server? What is your view on PvP and its role in the economy. For this question let's take SG out of the equation because it and good ol' original PvP are very different. I wanna ask this because me and countless others have made suggestion after suggestion based around PvP and even to this point none have been added? From simple changes like switching the arenas back to completely removing mcmmo pvp abilities we never see any change or any sign that our ideas have been heard. In general if anyone who is not a supermod, admin etc I'd ask you please refrain from posting I don't want this to turn into an argument of any sort. Though if you have something you would like to ask based on this go ahead.
I would love for pvp to go back to the way it was before, I remember pvp used to be one of the biggest sector on the server and now it is the least visited. Like Riku said many have made legit suggestions that would help, but none of them seemed to get looked at as a possibility.
What is this 'pvp' you speak of? Oh, that thing we had long ago... that was ages, eons ago! Pvp was actually fun back then.
@Dccciz Please read my post fully before posting, and saying No one actually pvps is being somewhat oblivious and pretty much ignorant, now as I said if you do have something relevant to add about PvP and have some info to back it up head over to suggestions and make use of it there. This is not the place.
But ya, the amount of suggestions we tried to get implemented is insane. We need a conclusion to this endless cycle. Please give us one
I agree 100% i have yet to see 1 pvp suggestion go into consideration or even commented on by a superior. Pvp attracts alot of users, and back in the good old days, like half of the server pvp'd. I think its great for the server to have pvp, it fun and it encourages competition, but since pvp has changed (server wise and minecraft wise in general) i think some sort of balance changes need to happen, do bring this great activity back. It revolved alot around the economy and community aswell (selling and buying gear, potions, Clans) There was also clan wars in pvp which was alot of fun for the community, but now thats all gone since things haven't changed with minecraft changing. I would really like to see pvp come back.
The title is "What is PvP to ECC", so I answered the question. If you're not ok with that, and want a different answer, have riku rename the title to something that would fit your needs.

READ THE THREAD do you need the definition of title? A descriptive heading or caption,as of a chapter,section,or other part of a book. The title is not a a answered to be asked, juts imply a heading.
I read the post, I don't see what rule I'm breaking. My view on pvp is that it is not as popular as it used to be, and that SG has become more popular instead because it offers more of a gain for less of a risk. PvP is a large risk because of the possible loss of gear, which doesn't make it as popular.
I'm going to have to ask you to stop posting on this now, you are picking and choosing what to read and that is not how this works.
My opinion on PvP on the economy: It needs help. PvP, if revamped, could be a great moneymaking method for some users, just as SG, mining, or farming. When overhauled, McMMO would get a boost (people wanting to get better), Prot IV and Sharp V markets would be in demand, and people would enjoy it. I personally would PvP on ECC (I don't really PvP outside of playing the teammate in a 2v2 or a friendly "grudge match") more if it got some help.
Wait there is PVP on ecc? In all seriousness I think it needs to be brought back. I remember a a builder hanging out with all the "cool" kids in prot 4 armour having fun and talking
Also, I think the arenas we have are a bit too big imo I liked the old arenas a lot so I don't think they should be kept the same. About the mcmmo I think it would make it more fun it kept how it is
