I hope to see more smeltable metal ores, like maybe silver, aluminum, and copper. also, I'd like more crafting armour options, like Lapis, or emerald.
Pistons and hoppers are disabled due to auto-farming capabilities. Animal breeding is disabled because of crazy lag issues. Neither of these would be added via 1.9 unless the update includes a major lag-reduction update, which I don't think is even possible. Cooking pots would be nice to have back though.
I think you missed the sarcasm here. They are just suggesting everything that's bad for ECC, laggy or ruins economy. Now onto the post. I'm not at all hyped for 1.9. Reason 1: Dual wielding seems to hard and too OP. If 1.9 reaches SG, kits will suffer a blow. Blocking with a sword is much easier. Also how will that be controlled? Reason 2: The grass path or whatever... It's just weird. Why add a block that's 1 carpet layer lower than all other blocks? Reason 3: All right, the end stuff may seem exciting, however it kinda defeats the "end game" feeling. Especially if they're going to allow creating new ender dragons. Infinite islands? That dragon could be anywhere! At least this stuff doesn't apply to ECC, we don't have the end. Reason 4: I have never been a fan of updates ever since 1.6. Everything changed too much. Biomes, items, etc. I just don't want minecraft to update this way.
He wants the aether mod, not just floating islands. However, ECC will never be modded and there is no chance of that changing.
I don't wholeheartedly. i think they should get rid of any of them that are normally part of survival minecraftt (mainly Anvils, water and pyro on their first levels.)
SG kits will never be abolished. It has been proved my many locked suggestions about it. SG kitting has become too entangled in ECC. So forget it.
So, what you're suggesting is that we refund all users who have purchased kits for SG, and delete the kits from our server? All of the time and thought that has been put into making these kits, nurfing them, and designed individually ? For users with no kits we already a have a 1/4 of a chance of no kit games. Kits will not be removed. Hopefully when 1.9 is released, we as a community will work to make the economy remain the same.
