Ex a 5 year and a future 10 year milestone.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: I think showing appreciation for your older members would be an admirable thing to do in the form of a medal milestones like that are not a very common nor easy thing to achieve. It also encourages fidelity. We've got trophies for membership already, so I wouldn't see the point in adding a medal when we already have so many. (-1)
I agree to this point but I’m not saying let’s saturate the medals with annual milestones. Just the big ones such as 10 and 20 when that time comes. Lots of other games have done this type of visual reward system with very positive results
A five or ten year medal is incredibly easy - sure, it takes forever to earn. Ultimately though all you would have to do is come back after a period of inactivity. Join date already shows besides your posts. I don't think we need cluttery medals to reiterate that.
I understand your reasoning but doubt this will be accepted. It is much better if you ask for specific medals. The server is actually removing medals rather than adding them. Many have come and gone over time...some that only could only be earned by paying money (such as bitcoin) . I am still waiting for them to eliminate all the donation ones except the highest amount donated to really help eliminate the medal clutter.
We don't need more medals. We already have trophies points for several things, including a trophy medal for earning them. Adding medals for each trophy will just be more medal spam.
