If we're advertising then we're already getting the only benefit from voting anyway (a good position on list sites).
Without advertsing there is little point in voting sites, unless you're a huge server that can drive a lot of traffic to vote. Voting sites are there to make money, and they do this by selling advertisement slots at the top, which is what we are doing. Giving free items out, for something that wont benefit the server much, will only disrupt the economy
Back in 2012ish I found the server because it was on top of most server lists. I agree with Sneaky but think ECC is a server with enough traffic and a monetary reward would definitely give a drive to vote. Advertising also works fine, if we don't stop doing it. If there are plans not to advertise forever why not bring back voting now so that we can get a high spot from all the players the ads bring. So for those reason I'll give it a +1, I do think the reward should be ECD instead of netherstars to not flood the market.
As much as I want free nstars for mundane tasks, /vote was disabled because it wasn’t needed anymore, and it is still not needed now. -1
TL;DR you want free nether stars for something that will benefit EcoCityCraft in no way. I too would like free things in life sadly it’s just not how it works.
