Hey ECC, Long time no see! I dont know how many of you guys may remember me, but I used to do a thread where I posted the wave photos that I have taken. I've gotten a lot better from the first thread I posted around a year ago (I have 3 threads total). Since my photo's were improving, I thought that I'd share them with my old friends and players. As a side note, if you guys want to see more, my instagram page has all of my photos and I post around twice a week depending on my luck with the waves. Hope you Enjoy This picture was taken at one of the most famous breaks in the world; Pipeline. Some of you may have heard of it, but for those that haven't, it is a very dangerous and powerful wave that breaks over reef. This photo was taken around 3 weeks ago when the last winter swell came in. This picture was taken at a relatively unknown beach that is known for its larger waves and water clarity. Living in hawaii, there very few beaches that arent always packed and still have beautiful waves. This picture was taken at another famous beach; Sandy Beach. "Sandys" is actually a shorebreak (breaks on sand) but there is an outside break that is a 10 minutes swim from shore. The break, known as "half-point" is a very shallow reef break that can be dangerous as there are random coral heads that jutt out. I took this photo at around 6:00 AM and you can see the peak of the wave forming.
