Water

Water is a donation feature so that the server can gain money in order to continue running. Removing it as a feature or adding it as a perk to a rank would take away money from donations that the server needs to run. You can always buy water placements from other users. By asking in /ch tr you can find users that can be hired to place water for you.

 

The server costs A LOT of money to run, it's one of the most powerful Minecraft servers out there provided by Singlehop, Obliviously it will cost a lot of money to run therefore we need to pay donations towards the running costs. Even if you do not want to donate for the feature yourself you can ask others to place water for you in "/ch tr" or buy the donation from other users paying in ecodollars

 

Because this is an economy server and well donating for water is just another way to make money. You have the option of buying it from other users in exchange for eco dollars. At the moment it will cost you around 65-80k

 

But what about the people who already bought this feature, donating $10 for it isn't the end of the world.

 

I wondered this when I first joined, it seemed stupid to have to donate $10 just to place water! 1/3 the cost of a Minecraft account just to place water on one server. I have since got the donation lol. Still +1

They would receive gift-cards as per the donation/server disclaimer.

 

I doubt water would ever not be a donation feature. It is really easy to grief with water, and a bunch of one time users who come onto this server looking for trouble will do exactly that. I support the fact that it is a donation feature.

 

Well, I already get a ton of benefits with mayor. Sure, it would be nice to have water for mayor or such, but you gotta donate for it. End of story.
