This may be moved or even removed but I feel this needs to be said. I put in a LWC report yesterday, and it was completed over night when i was asleep. When I came on this morning and I went straight to the unlocked chests to find a player was already there going through the chests. Be warned he is a President he does have donation features and I take is one of them is flying as my land is over water. He is looking down the LWC report list finding out where chests have been unlocked and then helping himself to them. Of course this is not against the rules as unlocked chests are fair game, But to find out where they are and then go there deliberately to greif the chests is not on. i will name and shame that player as I think this is wrong so look out when you put a lock report in, make sure the room is secure especially if you are unlocking doors make a little room around the room so when it is unlocked it can not be open, or block it up from the inside. and watch out for warpaint56 he should know better and should be ashamed of his actions
Wow... I thought I got this fixed a while ago by stealing everyone's LWC's and forcing staff to add the wait delay until the thread is public. My only suggestion to you is to actually get to your LWC's faster. It's not that hard..
yeah i know but with the time diff, if they are not done before i head off to bed, i have to wait until i wake up and in that time things happen.
There is an option to change your town's flag, which makes it so that non-members of the town cannot interact with chests and similar items.
Honestly, its not that hard to make the LWCs unstealable. Note that staff have /tppos, while other people have /tpc. Meaning staff can go into places with a ceiling. In fact, the reason why its /tpc and not /tppos is to prevent people from accessing blocked places. What you need to do (ignore if you are LWCing a house or an apartment) is surround the chests with walls and a ceiling and add a private door with the chest owners /cmodify'ed to it. Works like a charm to me and saves me nice loot. Of course there may be people in your town who will break in, but that is a matter of trust as well as griefing to get in is illegal. P.S. I think you may be warned for flame and defaming other users,
Note: Surrounding an lwc totally blocking it off with a private door or placing blocks above the chests so that others cannot access is illegal. This will get your lwc removal request denied and you will have to wait an extra 3 days in order for staff to do this. The reason for this is because the owner of the chests need to have access to them at all times before the removal is performed. If they were to come online and go to remove their lock finding that they cannot access it then that is wrong.
yea i got an eff7 from blocks lwc but i gave it back since hes a friend. If it wasnt a friend i think its all fair game and first of all lwc's shouldnt be the for the items inside rather to get rid of em
I don't see why the LWC's cant be approved after 24 hours instead of the current 12 Hours that we leave them. But that would have to be a suggestion and have to be implemented if enough support is given. Im sorry that some of your lwc's were stolen by someone else.
Not even when you /cmodify because although we can check who has permission we cannot see when unless we log dive. I'm not going to be checking logs for every lwc request. The time that would involve would be insane
i dont agree with this you shouldnt feel sorry for people who lost things in an lwc. For one thing they should be taking from it since its not even their stuff

Would staff have a problem with us (common people) closing it off in a block, leaving enough room inside to move around and open the chest obviously, putting no door, but leaving a sign saying break box to get your belongings so and so? Obviously they will still need perms so that could cause a risk to griefing, but both you and the player have acces to said chests and you are giving said player the right to break the box and obtain his belonging if need be....
if it isn't your stuff then why should it be the player who steals the items stuff. If its that big of a deal just file lwc and have items wiped
So that everyone is aware, we have increased the time before LWCs are approved after having handled to 24hrs from 12hrs.
