Welcome to the early edition of Cirrus' town thread! (last updated 3/5/2016). Pictures to follow! Mayor: @stigarose Co-Mayor: @CheezyMonkey21 Cirrus is a legacy town with large mall (currently empty, accepting applications),PvP arena, heal sign/acrobatics trainer, storage vault, town farm (not yet built), plots of multiple sizes, and apartment building. Currently looking to fill the mall, all comers welcome regardless of rank. Cost is $500/month per shop for normal size shops and $1000/month for the two extra large shops (see rules section for additional information). Plot prices are $800 for 10x10, $1200 for 12x12, $1600 for 14x14 plots and go up from there. (see rules section for additional information). Apartment prices are $500 for normal size unfurnished, $1000 for furnished (2 available), $5000 for the full size penthouse (unfurnished and the size of 4 apartments and hallway), come check it out (penthouse has lift sign on the left when you walk in). (see rules section for additional information). Storage units available starting at $100/double chest (see rules etc etc) Erep/Smelting services also available (see rules...) PvP and acrobatics trainer area can be rented for $500/24 hours. Cirrus General Rules: Spoiler While being a member (or anytime otherwise) of Cirrus, ECC server rules must be followed. Do NOT grief (destroy or modify anything) that you didn't place yourself in your purchased areas Be courteous and considerate of other town members, no stealing or harassment will be tolerated. No killing animals named or otherwise is allowed inside the city. If you use the public farm (not yet built) you must replant, left unplanted will be considered griefing. Cirrus Plot Owner Rules: Spoiler If a plot(s) has been purchased, players must build only within their designated outline and lwc protections must only be placed within said outline. No trade signs allowed outside of “shops” (ok to have one inside your home to store exp). If you purchase a plot it is for your personal use only, it may not be resold/sublet. You may have basements, but you may still only build inside your plot, if you come across a cavern do not build outside your area! (there are some open areas underground from old farms, feel free to wall it off and have an enclosed basement inside your area). No more than 3 stories tall (not counting the roof). A chest will be placed outside your plot, locked by me and edited to include you, if you need an erep feel free to place in this chest and /mail me, I'll repair it next time I'm in game. If you are inactive for 14 days (or banned) you will be evicted and the contents of any lwcs (/lock) having to be removed will become the property of the owner of the town. Cirrus Apartment Owner Rules: Spoiler Players must build only within their designated apartment and lwc protections must only be placed within said apartment. Players may not alter the apartment in any way, which means no removing any object there when you move in, you may add anything you want except water, not water placement is allowed in the apartments (except in containers). No lava/fire/fireplaces etc are permitted inside the apartment building. If you are inactive for 14 days (or banned) you will be evicted and the contents of any lwcs (/lock) having to be removed will become the property of the owner of the town. If you buy adjoining apartments an exception can be made to add a door/remove wall between rooms at request from the town owner. Cirrus Mall Shop Rules: Spoiler Players must build only within their designated shop space and lwc (/lock) protections and trade signs must only be placed within said shop. Walls/Floor in place at time of rental may not be altered, however if you wish to add anything that is fine, including trying to squeeze in a second floor if you want to try (it'd be tight and better used for storage if you tried it in my opinion). You must pay your rental fee within 3 days of it expiring. Rental fees are paid in the mall staff room, where a trade sign for a “flint” will be placed for the rental amount. A sign below it will show how far you are paid till. If you have been inactive for 14 days (or banned) at the time your rental fee is due you will be evicted and the contents of any lwcs (/lock) having to be removed will become the property of the owner of the town, and trade signs removed and items lost will not be returned, and shop removed for someone else to rent. No lava or water placements, or any other type of fire/fireplace is permitted inside the mall. There may be a time when I may need your shop space, you will receive at least two weeks of notice if this occurs and you will have 10 days AFTER your paid time has run out to clear the premises (as in you don't have to take time you've paid for to get your stuff out of the shop). Cirrus Storage Rules: Spoiler Storage is offered in our large storage facility at the rate of $100 per double chest. This is a one time fee, however if you are inactive for 14 days (or banned) you will be evicted and the contents of your chest will be removed and become the property of the town owner. You will NOT be added as a member to the town. If you wish to purchase a chest that will never expire regardless of how long you are inactive it is $10,000 per double chest. However if you are inactive for 6 months at the time of ECC lwc cleaning (I believe december first) your chest will locked by the town owner and a $1000 service charge to have it unlocked if you come back online. If you are perma banned your contents will become property of the town owner. You will NOT be added as a member to the town. Cirrus Smelt and Erep Services: Spoiler You may purchase a double chest locked by me and edited to include you for $500. Chest will be in our storage facility and you must /mail me when you have items to smelt or repair. If I'm in game you can /msg me and I may be able to do the repair or smelt at that time by /tpa to you. If you're in the middle of mining and I'm online I'll /tpa to you to do the erep for free. I may be /afk though and I apologize if that's the case. Try the chat trade room or put it in your chest and /mail me. You get one double chest smelted per day. If you are inactive for 14 days (or banned) you will be removed from the chest and any contents will become the property of the town owner. You will NOT be made a member of the town.
Welcome to my new co-mayor @CheezyMonkey21, he has already been a great help in signing people up as town residents and sprucing up some buildings. We are installing public farms including potatoes, wheat, and carrots that are free to town residents. Also started planting a tree farm which will contain all varieties when complete.
