Hello everyone, so minecraft has just updated to 1.5.2 not to long ago, I want to tell everyone that they should either not updated yet, or that you take proper backups. The new update does not allow you to join 1.5.1 servers, meaning we need to wait for andrewkm to update the server itself first. Please remember this before updating. ~Pbrassat17
Bug fixes, aswell as getting ready for a new Realms thing they are adding. Aswell as preparing for a new launcher (Planned to come out later this year)
so I messed up and downloaded the new version before I read this thread (oops) I'm sure at least one other person made my mistake so below is the fix I used. download : http://assets.minecraft.net/1_5_1/minecraft.jar go to your run command: %appdata% open your .minecraft folder open the bin folder replace the minecraft.jar file with the one you downloaded above. run your game like normal it should be on 1.5.1 again.
The link provided is from minecraft.net, if you search around they have backup jars. So as far as i am concerned that link is ok.
posting jar files are not illegal and they are accepted due to accidently updating people want to downgrade so they can play on the server hopefully that answered your question. -ryan102199-

Im going to go ahead and Update since ECC Is updating and they wont be online till they're already upated EDIT: I might wait to see the features that come with the update. EDIT: Nope wont be updating until ECC Does, I'd rather be able to make macros while the server is offline, Justin out PS: THis is my first post while a donator!
