Have the booklet broken up into updates I’d suggest all pre 1.12 items being their own prestige and then continue by combining (1.13 and 1.14 items). (1.15 and 1.16 items). (1.17 and 1.18). (1.19 and 1.20). And lastly I would have 1.21 on its own since it has been a very large update and hasn’t even completed its additions yet.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: This is a good addition to ECC because its gives players more incentive to play the VMR server. Due to the difficulty of this game mode many players avoid these prestige's. This also helps balance out the server. The main server has added many prestige recently making it even less appealing to players to play the VMR game mode. This also doesn't seem balanced at a glace but the VMR game modes recent changes have made these prestige's very difficult.Other information: If anyone wants to add to this suggestion pls do!Plugin or custom addition: Same plugins used in VMR currentlyOne suggestion per form: I Understand.
This will just get thrown out, but I am all for a version backdate considering the difficulty of current booklet. With that being said it is a once completed prestige and I guess we just have to grit our teeth and bear it.
I agree but that’s why I made this suggestion once you finish the two prestige there is a whole game mode on ecc that just gets forgotten about I feel like some change to it would encourage people to play more and also would make people more willing to play on there own and not just pay others for this prestige. But I am very aware this isn’t the type of suggestion that gets approved.
Adding more prestiges will just make vmr suck even more and less people wanting to play. In all honesty, vmr has no real appeal to it. It is the same crappy gamemode everyone tries to avoid when they join a server. the only appeal it does have is the prestiges and since they are now a 6 month grind to complete (hyperbole btw), and prestige shops offering the perk without the grind, vmr is now and increasingly forgotten about. I think if it was rolled back to a 1.17 version/booklet, there would be more interested in doing the prestige, but spending more time than that in that gamemode? doubt it
I’m lazy to find it, but I suggested something similar for multiple booklet a while ago where one prestige is discovering one of every item, and another for what it is currently, and it was denied stating they want only one for booklet
+1 - I think given the nature of Minecraft updates, users were able to prestige for far less/less difficulty than players can now. I’ve always thought that VMR Prestiges should be revised as nearly every other area of ECC has multiple prestiges. I’ve personally thought that there should be 2 Prestiges for VMR Booklet: #1 - Either Booklet seen is 100% but not completed 100% or completion is 50/75%. #2 - Booklet is Completed to 100%. I also think that we should get a new prestige for VMR Points. #1 - 100 points #2 - 200 or 250 points again, I think the above and your suggestion as a whole would bring VMR prestiges in line with other prestiges but as others have said, I’m not sure this is on the agenda at the moment.
I don’t understand how this would make less people want to play. If people cared about the main server they would want to gain prestige for it right? So wouldn’t more opportunities lead more people to this game mode. Also, as everyone has stated here this suggestion isn’t a priority and I understand that. This gamemode has been around ecc since 2017 and only has a couple loyal players. But I personally enjoy this gamemode and think any kinda of addition would be nice to see. Just because most people don’t play it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t get new features like the rest of the server. If it was a bad addition to ecc it would already be gone. I also wanted to add I have a few different ideas for how to add new prestige to vmr but due to the suggestions forum being very clear about only making one suggestion per thread this is what I landed on.
