In Game Name: JdawgerWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: VMR ServerShort title for your suggestion: Deepslate Emerald Ore to 5 or make rareWhat are you suggesting: Lower the requirement to achieve Deepslate Emerald Ore to 5 (or 3 for consistency sake) or worst case, add them to the rare rollsWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: Deepslate Emerald ore is the absolute rarest natural, non-craftable block in the game (that isn’t already a rare in the crate), spawning in a handful of specific biomes with absolutely no cave biomes spawning under said biomes. On top of that, they only spawn between 8 & -16 and, in terms of the emerald ore generation spread, spawns much less the lower you go. This makes it where one deepslate emerald ore generates per 100,000 given blocks in those specific biomes (according to the Minecraft Wiki) [according to the video below, it is more realistically 1 per million blocks]. This is quite hard to come by. Add onto that the fact we cannot use xray texture packs or cheats to help us locate these, and we have basically an impossible task to even find one (let alone 10). Five easily keeps the challenge and frustration. Alternately, adding it to Rares might not be a bad idea given how impossible it is to find without cheats. They are harder to obtain in the wild compared to Netherstars and even Totems of UndyingOther information: For reference and more information on Deepslate Emerald Ore spawning Also, I would love people who have attempted to get Deepslate Emerald Ore after the Caves & Cliffs Part 2 Update [1.18] to weigh in. I was only able to find one single ore these past two weeks, and that was just a lucky one while looking for an ancient city; I found zero doing strip mining multiple days for hoursPlugin or custom addition: One suggestion per form: I Understand.
