Although, I submitted a suggestion to lower it back down, I will point out again here that it is far too high and it's nearly unplayable as its like non stop zombie hordes and after taking one out, they're immediately replaced. Can we get them returned to normal? I double checked my single player worlds which are 1 hardcore and 1 hard mode and neither are producing spawns remotely close to the current rate. Thank you.
I mentioned this on your suggestion, but I'll mention it here too The old spawning rates for VMR seemed pretty high to begin with, especially for hostile mobs. While I never experienced this new mob spawning rate in VMR, the fact that it was increased from the old one (which I just said seemed high then) means that this increase will hurt VMR. Also should note too that Mickus here isn't the only person who said the new mob cap and increased spawning is hurting VMR
Agreed. Definitely was challenging before, but it's darn near unplayable for half the time (because we can't sleep through the night). The increased mob spawning is much more than vanilla normal mode, seems like.
Agreed. Even the old spawning rate was higher than the previous vanilla single player survival worlds that I played
+1 can confirm this is bogus and VMR is not so fun with this. Either revert this or let us sleep or ideally both.
@Mickus @Jdawger @KiwiAngelTwist @Schloty The revert is now on the VMR server. Let us know if you experience any issues.
