Suggestion: Add another Other Games Channel. Cons / Pros: Pros: - Many of the channels are full, as the community grows, people like to go and hang out and play another game. - Many people just sit in the channel and take up space (Atleast I think ). - More room! Cons: - Not sure if we're limited to the amount of Channels we can have. - So many channels; too crowded.
+1 Great idea Jetscat, I would also like another or more Other Games chanel, as many is full I go on Vent and now see that Gloabal is full, Mossic is used for Music, and many other.
This is where I say we try out Mumble alongside Ventrilo-- More channels, a different place and area, without cluttering Ventrilo? Allows for the chance for people to try out Mumble, too...even if just for a short time. :b I have not used Ventrilo in a while, but is it possible to put sub-channels in a main channel (like how there is, I believe) but have them hidden unless you click the +/- to show them? That can at least cut back on things looking cluttered. ..as I am not active on Ventrilo, I'm either way on this. Though, if I was active, I would say yes. All the times I pop on are at night, and there is plenty of space, but I dunno how it is during peak. xD
I'm nervous about mumble.. I think it's just because i'm so used too Ventrilo, and don't want too leave it lol. But I assume I could get use too it, it would just take some time, just like Ventrilo did. We've just been with Ventrilo so long, I don't really want too leave it, lol.
That is why I said alongside it, as a supplement and a test. :b I love Ventrilo and also do not want to switch, but trying new things can be interesting when there is plenty of time to get used to them, and it isn't an instant switch with throwing the "old" away.
Depends on the person. <3 Me and most my friends hangout on my Teamspeak3 Server, but I also have friends that prefer vent so for them I also have a Vent server. Most of us don't like Ventrilo because it is too limiting and is not very user friendly. We prefer the easy of use that comes with Teamspeak3 as compared to the complicated and unreliable Ventrilo. With all that said I also want to add that I am not trying to tell anyone they should be using TS over Vent. Also that you should use what you want to use, NOT what people TELL you to use. I have been on the Vent server however, and I agree with you Jets. There should be a few more channels if not many more.
