Familyfurst Change to were being in vanish has no effect on the server count of players. More players at least counted, the more new people are going to want to stay, and the players in /vanish still retain their invisibility. You other brothers can't deny!
I can kind of agree with this, and also disagree. Yes it would show we have more players on, not a lot but more that is. However they're vanished for a reason. They don't want to be known that they're online. I'm not saying "Oh yeah, 1 additional number on the total amount. As @Jdawger Staff can see the vanished players, so I mean yes us non-staff can't see that they're online. But they can. It's they're choice on whether they want to be included into that player count online, or not.
You still wouldn't be "seen", it would just show a higher number of players online. It doesn't change much about /vanish, no one but staff can "see" that player, they will just know "someone" else is online.
I don’t know, people are in /vanish for a reason. There are usually good reasons too-like I assume Andrew and Jamie go in /vanish often to be able to work on the server and not be bombarded with questions. And that staff might go into vanish to quietly remove LWCs. As for player count, it’s doesnt really matter. It would only be a problem if the amount of people in vanish exceed the amount of people playing the server. Tl;dr It doesn’t really matter, because people have good reasons for being in vanish.
But new players can also count... If it says there are 30 players on and 25 names it just looks like we're padding the numbers
This. Personally, I don't think many people are going to say "Oh look, there are 54 players online right now instead of 49. Now I'm more likely to stay here!".
Vanish does not effect the count seen here: As well as the count on server lists. Your suggestion simply pertains to /list.
