Accused Username: @TheZombieMuffinComplaint: Loan Scamming ($300,000)Evidence: Additional Information: This is one of the hardest complaints I've ever had to make, on a user I already understand to have been long banned. One of my good friends on ECC, I gave him alone under what I understood to be highly favorable conditions, as he seemed to be in great need of it. Stating that he had always repaid his loans, and being a long-time very good friend of mine, I gave him a loan of $225,000 for $300,000 by 1/21/16. I cannot state how frustrated I am at this situation, as at the time this money was the first time I had gathered so considerable a sum after overcoming some gambling problems for the past six months. To have lost to one of my good friends, who essentially used me so he'd have someone who he thought would be more patient to be at the end of his enormous debt, is nothing short of dishonorable and unfair. Moreover, after stating he never was banned for loan scamming, he was banned within an hour of receiving the loan. Since then, he stated over forum pm twice that he would repay it, failing to even attempt after deciding in his only immediate ban appeal that it would be too much work. While I have since recovered financially, this situation is nothing less than infuriating, not due to the money, but because my patience and generosity was taken advantage of by one of my good friends who knew that I would be understanding of his situation. Yet while doing this, he hid the severity of it from me at a point when I trusted him enough to take his word and not even check the forums for any out-standing complaints. I truly hope to see this situation resolved and that he'll attempt to rejoin the server.
Thank you for filing this complaint. If TheZombieMuffin ever decides to appeal his ban, this loan will have to be paid off. Locked - Ban Reason Updated
