Accused Username: @StingyPvPComplaint: Clause 2.2 - Attempted Scamming Users cannot attempt to scam other users. If enough evidence is provided and the staff believe a scam was intended, this will result in a temporary ban against the offending user. Attempted scamming includes misleading sales or auctions. For example an auction for 'a melon, sword'. Accused user was selling donations and offered to have me pay after the donation went through. Through a stroke of my own stupidity, I paid part of it before hand, but he paid me the $50k back a few hours later. He then gave me a transaction ID that proved to be from 2014 (I'll add any applicable staff that want to see the forum pm about the ID with Andrewkm if they want to). He claimed to have misspelled my name in the donation and gave me another excuse earlier today. It's been about 24 hours so I've filed a complaint.Evidence: Additional Information: For a new user, he definitely knows how to make a in game contract and seems to know what he's doing. I've been entertaining the possibility StingyPVP might be an alt.
I wasn't aware he was proven not an alt. Mods please disregard that part then. (On a side note, I do hope he just messed up my name, but it's been awhile and said user has given me very little information regarding this topic)
No I have not lost any money. I paid &50k in the beginning, but he paid me that back about 2 hours later.
Lmao so why the complaint? The transaction didnt go through for whatever reason obviously so he paid you back
Because attempted scamming is illegal and he gave Mason a transaction ID from 2014... I can see if it just didn't go through, or if he really misspelled Mason's name, but then why give a transaction ID from 2 years ago and make it look like everything went fine? That doesn't seem fishy to you? It's better to have this out in the open now so no one actually gets scammed I think.
@StingyPvP could you please explain why you gave @Masonrf an old transaction ID? Because if you don't explain, I'm going to have to take this situation as an attempted scam on your part. User given 24 hours to respond
Holy moly I paid the poor guy back what more does he want. I wasn't attempting to scam him I'm new to the game. That transaction ID was random yes it was but it was simply because I was at that "Am I actually going to donate to this server" phase in time. I eventually decided too and was not able to because of donations I decided to make to my account as well. I paid the user back the 50k right away I was trying to steal his money or anything I can promise you all that. @FuryFudge
Thank you @StingyPvP, since you paid @Masonrf his money back and explained you side of things, no action will be taken. Locked - Dismissed
