Felon Username: snickers199811Complaint: Arbitrary town-wide removal of all members in Carlisle (legacy world) without the proper 7-day notification as required by ECC's rules. Section 5, Clause III states the following: I only discovered this by doing /rg i, since no /mail was sent, no forum pm, or a forum thread created. It is very likely that snickers199811 is the user that demolished all of the homes and removed everyone because he is the current official and original mayor of the town. The others are co-mayors. I believe this occurred sometime last Friday or this past weekend.Evidence: Do /rg i carlisle. No members show up. Proof of the list of members cannot be shown without looking into ECC logs. Below are two screenshots that I hope will be useful (the first one is from September, it is an /rg i carlisle. I don't have any more recent screenshots showing the town roster) The second picture shows that the door is locked by me (owner never filed lwcs due to users being inactive) and how the /rg list is now empty. The demolished house is in the background. (Note: Pictures can also be accessed here) Additional Information: Although I requested to be removed, for all other members (many of whom are still active), there was no /mail sent or even a forum notice stating the town-wide removal. Had a notification been sent out, I could have removed my old home there (which was demolished -_-) I would presume logs would need to be searched in order to determine who made the mass town member wipe.
Thanks for reporting this! Do you mind telling me around when the first screenshot was taken? As well, are there any relevant coordinates or evidence you could provide, like proof of you owning a home or building something there? @snickers199811 @creepersko @tnt_55 As you three are listed as owners of the town, do you mind explaining what is going on?
I'm not 100% sure if the following information would be helpful, considering how there is no sign stating my name on it. The only semi-proof would be the lwc on the door (this can be verified by a GameAdmin+ in the logs as proof that the lwc was created months ago) Coordinates of remains of home: X: -11276 Y: 63 Z: 9742 If the information above is not enough evidence, then one can search the town. Some of the locks are by players no longer showing up on /seen, whereas others are from relatively active players. EDIT: (Answering first question): I stated in the complaint that the first screenshot was taken in September. Unfortunately, I do not have any more recent screenshots depicting the /rg i. I am certain ECC Logs would show if a command was performed removing all members from the region. I took the second screenshot less than one hour ago I believe.
Alright, thanks for the additional evidence. I've also searched the town and found the plots you've mentioned. I'll be leaving this open to hear what the town mayors have to say before making a decision.
@williamannin In investigating this complaint, we have so far discovered no evidence that any other players have been wrongfully removed. Many players whose locks were found are no longer active, or no longer live in the town. Therefore, there is nothing to suggest an unlawful town-wide eviction. As to your particular home, you have stated in your complaint that you requested to be removed from the town, and therefore forfeited your rights to any structure you may have had.
