Felon Username: Skymaster Complaint: The use of a hacked client to gain unfair advantages. Spoiler: Hacking Rules Section 6.1 Clause 1 - Hacking and Hacked Clients Fly, speed, air build, teleport hacking, or any other types of hacks, are not tolerated. This includes x-ray hacking and x-ray texture packs. Using any unfair means (including glitches, bugs, and exploits) to get into server buildings is also not allowed and is unfair to other users. Using any clients, specifically hacked clients, which may allow you to gain unfair advantages as deemed by ECC staff is strictly prohibited. Users caught using any client deemed to be a "hacked client", as defined by and at the discretion of the staff, will be banned. There is no excuse for using a hacked client on EcoCityCraft whatsoever. Discussion of hacked clients is not allowed - we do not allow them, and therefore we do not discuss them. Evidence: Additional Information: (Tracers): If you start from the beginning you will see skymaster dealing with Emmeh and Wolfwoodnyo as I stare from a distance behind a tree, to which there should be a total of '5' entities on his 'E' such as I display. With his back turned to me the entire time, except for a few seconds once 75% of grace period was up, as soon as grace period was about to end Skymaster turned 180 and pin points my location and begins to run in a bline straight towards me swinging. I run away obviously and Skymaster completely avoids Wolfwoodnyo throughout the entire SG. For the most part I kept a rather large distance between me and the accused so that he cannot see my trails all to easily, if at all. I also make quick turns around objects to confuse him of which direction I am heading in hopes to shake him. Soon as I start running to the mountain, he shoots an arrow right where I was previously standing. Now when I head back to the nether, Skymaster completely ignores Woofwoodnyo and continues following me, swinging his sword, and without a compass, now lets not forget about the well over 10+ block distance between us. And he shoots another arrow right where I was standing as soon as I enter the nether. Now... there comes a point where I become out of render distance, this means i'm to far away for his tracers client to pick up on my location without exceeding the loading of the map. When I come back and pass by the nether, where is Skymaster? Ignoring my dear friend Wolfwoodnyo and heading straight towards me once again, swinging, and B-lining. He tries one more time to shoot two arrows at me once I pass by the mountain a good 20+ blocks away, and then I stop over by the lava fall. Now this is when I believe skymaster notices that i'm simply just recording him as I am not interested in killing him, to which he attempts to play stupid (unless he actually is... never know) and starts swinging into the air avoiding my location. I start running back to the mountain, cover been blown and speed 2 drained, to which "I finally shake Skymaster" by going up the vines. I took the liberty of highlighting the key points in this video to better show what I've experienced. I do recommend cutting the screen in half and playing the video in x.5 speed as well as reading along like this. I record at a solid 60fps and experience no lag besides in the very very end where I glitch into the wall on the side of nether.
Hello, I will tag all the staff members that will be requested to look into this, for now, please sit tight. There is to be no irrelevant posting of any sort unless requested by me or the staff members that I will now tag. @Nicit6 @ClarinetPhoenix @Smorezs @Physicistsmom
@Mochocrap After a recent false complaint on me, I've hit the books about what these specific hacks do, and I have to say that I'm on the fence. The reason I say this is because when skymaster was looking at those two people during grace period, for safety he could've flashed f5 at just the right time to see you drinking your potions. That isn't enough to make a judgement on its own, however. I'm not sure about your fov settings, but it looks to me like you kept the user 7-8 blocks away most of the time. The fact that you were relatively close, and the use of bigger particles in game, makes it easier to see invisible players. Also, your footsteps didn't help your case- running and jumping reduces footsteps. But I think it's still rediculous for him to be able to identify your location and "trace" you out while running for 1-2 minutes around the arena, especially because he lost sight of your particles momentarily due to you going around that nether wall. How'd he know you would race around the other side, is beyond me. I think he might have thought you were recording so when he got close, he put on a little blind circle swinging act like he couldn't see you, but I think he knew you were right there. Remember tracer lines go right through walls. That may be how he followed you through that nether pillar. I hope this isn't a bunch of gibberish, thanks.
At grace period, there were a total of 5 entities, I drank my potions behind a tree, and if he f5'd looking at me he'd see 2 entities. Him turning around and pin pointing my exact location is impossible from the distance we were apart. Now as I appreciate your feedback and opinions about this complaint. I'd appreciate it even more if you had pm'd me instead of posting on this complaint simply because I'm trying to keep it completely clear of irrelevant posts. And frankly your comment had no valid evidence, it just explained what you saw in the same video I went into detail about. Edit* @7amoodw
While it's appreciated that some of you guys are trying to help out with the complaint, we are very capable of handling this our own. Please do not post here unless you are providing additional evidence.
In mine raft there is the magical thing called "player movement sound" and you running behind me i could obviously hear you now if I had hacks wouldn't I have hit you and killed you right there ? I rest my case
This evidence does not prove that this person has a hacked client installed. Even though you are invisible you are clearly obvious. Everything seen here is just common pvp awareness. Locked/Dismissed
