Ummmm... there are some serious allegations being levied here. I'd like to see some proof of them: - Hacking: please point to a section in the video where I am "hacking." - Tried to kill you: where? Give a timestamp in the video (for example: at [insert time, you can see samike007 ______]. The only thing that is evident in the video is at 1:47, you mine some cobble and pop a lava vein. Show me where I tried to kill you. - Trolling: How? I'm standing still for about 95% of this... Looking around, doing nothing. I'm not moving, and I'm not saying much. I threw some materials into the lava, and said my name was samike007. The point is: recording someone while they're standing in the same room as you and claiming they're doing something nefarious is a pretty big charge to hurl at someone. You should probably make sure you have some proof when you do so... To me, this seems to be an epidemic on this server: people immediately claim "harassment" or "trolling" when they see someone in the mining world because they want to scare them away from a mining spot they found. Unfortunately, this is going to lead to a "boy who cried wolf" system where real complaints can't be taken seriously. I hope, @HuntFishLive, when you reply, you're able to show some proof. Thanks.
I also want to point out how this appears (though poorly thought out) to be an attempt to trap somebody, given the users seemingly joyous reply of "and now ur gonna be banned for it cuz i was recording." Lastly, how did he TP back to his place without a TP command? Just curious?
I am not a GA, but I will post a relevant comment and then let a GA make a ruling. You can see blocks breaking when no one is there at 0:44, wall having larger hole from 1:00 to 1:17; however doing a small investigation the blocks were being mined by someone with investigator meaning they were vanished and would not show up on the video. I am not sure if they were trolling the original poster or not, but I will still let a GA make a ruling on this. RagMan
I teleported home using a macro set to issue the command /home rachel I simply pressed the key, and it did the rest. This is not illegal. I would like some explanation of how samike007 was "standing still" and somehow "not breaking blocks" when quite clearly, blocks were being broken. I highly doubt someone would be mining in vanish and somehow purposely break under me multiple times. I'll post times for you @samike007 but I'm off to class.
This is interesting; I was charged with a number of things, and I addressed those specifically. I asked for direct proof of each of those charges, and HuntFishLive provided none. He said he was off to class, so I'll wait. Additionally, where in the video were blocks being broken below HuntFishLive? Is there any evidence of this? A time? A third-person view? Etc? It appears there isn't. What is becoming clear, however, is that HuntFishLive is using a defensive mechanism, the ability to report complaints, as an offensive tool. My reasoning: when faced with the data-backed opinion of a respected moderator (RagMan17: "You can see blocks breaking when no one is there at 0:44, wall having larger hole from 1:00 to 1:17; however doing a small investigation the blocks were being mined by someone with investigator meaning they were vanished and would not show up on the video") claiming to have actually investigated this and finding a sound explanation, HuntFishLive immediately scoffs at it and pushes forth with his "samike007 was hacking and trying to kill me... now ur gonna be banned" motives. In the face of evidence, he still chooses to accuse. This shows that his accusations here are not an actual, "I was being attacked... help me" official complaint, but a rather low-cut attempt to impute someone in an effort to get them banned superfluously and without merit. Ecocitycraft has a great way of handling actual complaints, and I would ask that abusing the complaint system as an offensive weapon should not only be prohibited, but actions should be taken against the accuser when such complaints are levied. To use this system in a personal, vindictive way debases the value of the system and shows utter disrespect for the server as a self-sustaining entity. Thanks, samike007
Umm I have only made an accusation based on what I believe I saw. I am not saying I am right, and I am not saying you are wrong. Complaints are made based on what the player who filed it believes, and that is why there is an investigation going on right now. We are awaiting a conclusion supporting one of our cases. In no way have I abused the complaint system. If it does turn up to be that there WAS in fact someone vanished and breaking those blocks, I had no idea, and I am in no wrong for believing that you may have been hacking. Now, as requested, here are some times in the video that I believe support my case, and I will also attempt to support samike007's case as well. At time 0:19 of the video you see a redstone dust come out of no where, and you also see a block is broken from beneath me. At time 0:33 another piece of redstone from nowhere. At time 0:42 you see samike007 standing still while stone is broken right behind him. At time 2:18 you note samike007 looking over towards a wall, and 2 stone breaking mysteriously. At time 2:29 many stone being broken behind samike007. At time 2:41 samike007 claims to have "long arms" and is able to break blocks. At time 2:45 water has been placed. At time 3:12 more stone being broken where samike007 happens to be looking. At time 3:19 I then hit my 'h' key, telling my macro to initiate the command '/home rachel' to take me to my home. Hopefully I have satisfied @samike007 and provided the proof he wanted. I understand that there could have been a vanished player, but the only way to prove that is to check the logs, and many people could have issued /vanish in the time frame of this dispute. The video I took was created right around 10:39 pm EST if that helps narrow the search down.
A vanished person broke the blocks, and there was no attempt to kill you in the video. Just messing around. What I do see is you repeatedly calling him a hacker when he asks you questions. Don't throw these baseless accusations around, it's rude and uncalled for. The trolling isn't punishable, as it was simply a harmless joking troll. Locked, denied.
