Accused Username: @Red_Pandaz_13Complaint: Here's the situation. I rented a star rod from Red_Pandaz_13 (Who will now further be referred to as "Red),, for a month in exchange for an immediate payment of 200k. I sent the payment as shown in the imgur, and the two ONLY stipulations made were: a) Immediate payment of 200k to rent a star rod for a month. b) If the rod is lost, to replace it within a set time period or to pay Red 1 million dollars. Nowhere in our agreement did it say I must place the rod in a chest that both of us can access if I were to go offline. Later, when I logged on tonight (around 11:30 PM PST, July 13), I had received a /mail from Red, detailing that I must leave the rod in a chest if I am going to go offline, and to leave it at /warp christmas (presumably in the donation chest that is at /warp christmas). This would be fine, had he not had an admin remove the rod from a chest that I had placed it in (@Nicit6) and then take the rod back, in an unknown location that I have not accessed. Not only was this stipulation not stated in the original agreement, but I do not have access to the rod for tonight, when I was planning on fishing. I just want this to be rectified, and an official stipulation that the rod must be placed in a chest accessible by both of us AT ANY TIME.Evidence: First screenshot, showing our agreement for 200k and 1 month, and my payment of 200k upfront. (Notice how it says "whenever you want) Second screenshot shows me agreeing to the stipulation that I am to replace the rod if lost within 2 months or pay Red 1mil. Third screenshot shows me receiving a mail from Red, telling me to not go offline with the rod, and to leave it "in the chest at /warp christmas" (the only chest there was a donation chest, so I'm assuming that's what Red meant.) Fourth screenshot shows the sign nicit6 (found to be nicit after an investigator checked it) placed on the chest I had the rod in. Last screenshot shows the rod is missing (and shows the rod I'm holding is a Max Rod that I purchased for myself in a separate transaction, NOT a Star Rod [btw the star rod is named Fancy Fisher, if that matters]) Additional Information: I personally feel as if we both made a mistake; I apologize for not placing it in a chest we both can access when I'm offline, but that was NOT in the stipulations we made. I also am a little upset you went behind me to grab an admin to take it back (which I suppose is fair), but if you're going to do that at least place it in one of the three chests NEXT to the rod that only you and I had access to, or a separate chest completely, as long as you and I (and you and I alone) can access it. Why did you take the rod back when there was no agreement made to place the rod in a shared chest? Also, if you do want the rod placed in a chest upon @soapinmouth logging out, you will need to add that into the agreement. Awaiting response - Left open for 24 hours.
Hi! I agreed to let him borrow this rod for free whenever he wanted for a month, not solely have access to the rod, I am on most of the day and will gladly let him rent whenever he pleases. I do not like him logging off with it in his possession because I am afraid it will get lost.
Sorry for the confusion, I thought the user understood when I said they he could rent whenever he wanted for free meant it was just that, a rental. Generally people who rent my items return it upon getting offline. I am open to placing a chest in my town for us to both use the rod. Him being able to use it whenever he wants then. I have done this for other users and it has worked very well. We can make another agreement whenever Soap is online.

By renting out a star tool to a user, you are risking your star tool to make money. If you feel like he will break it, why did you rent it out to him. What I dont understand is that you offered the star rod to the user and asked for a payment. If you are gonna let him use it for free for a month, there wouldn't need to be a 200k payment. I feel like this was a star tool rental.
@strongpelt @soapinmouth The rod is in a chest for both of us. Soap: do /warp Christmas , head towards the farm, there is a building in front of it called "tool rental" the chest is out front. Pm me for more details if needed. Sorry for all the confusion guys, I hope this fixes it!
When you rent out your tool, the user should have access to it for himself. You rented out your tool, you shouldnt be sharing it with the user.
After some talk with Strong, @soapinmouth we can make a new contract or I am open to doing a bit of work and giving you a sort of refund. I didn't know there'd be so much confusion on this, just for clarification, let me copy what I said to Strong. "Ah, okay, yes, sorry, I have done this for other user's before (although most didn't pay as much). Basically I do star rod rentals at 2-3k an hour. When I have debt sometimes I do this thing where for a certain amount of money a user can rent the star rod for a certain time limit for free. So say they wanted to rent it one day for 4 hours. They'd just pm me and instead of the 10k fee or whatever they'd just get it for 4 hours for free. Make sense?" Hope we can work something out. Also, @ThatKidArshi , I'd appreciate it if you'd stop commenting on this seeing as how it's frankly none of your business. Thanks.
@soapinmouth what would you like? @Red_Pandaz_13 has offered to make a new contract or refund you. Which would you like? Would a new agreement work for you? Awaiting response
@strongpelt a new agreement in which placing the rod when I am offline in a shared chest is explicitly stated would be the best here. @Red_Pandaz_13 I apologize for bringing you into such a mess and I appreciate how you've handled it. Thank you.
