Hello @StoneIronZ, thank you for filing this complaint. In order to do anything about this, we will need evidence. Do you have evidence of the original agreement, as well as you paying him the amount that you two agreed on? Before this is locked, I would like to make sure to remind ECC users of a rule that seems to be forgotten by many of us. Attempted scamming does result in a ban for the user at fault. From the wiki:

EDIT: As Dewsy stated here, and I will reiterate, I am not accusing StoneIronZ of any wrongdoing. He has a long history of being a trustworthy user. It is perfectly possible that he did not see the mail, did not check the sign, ect. ect. However, I just wanted to post a reminder to everybody encouraging them to try their hardest to solve issues in game rather than posting a complaint. This way, no further issues may arise.

 

@StoneIronZ, is this problem resolved?

 

Mildly attempted scamming... surely there should be repercussions? (As @SKSoccer noted)

Apologies if irrelevant, just want rule clarification as by all extents this complaint breaks them.

Ok, after consulting with the staff team on this issue, we have come to a decision. We have decided that this falls under the category of attempted scamming. @StoneIronZ will be banned for attempting to scam another user.
