Felon Username: Bmanvman Complaint: I was buying a town from him on a payment plan and he recently sold it to someone else without giving me any notice or let me know and give me my 80k back that I already gave him. Evidence: I was paying from a sign but i don't know if its still there. Additional Information: Since he already sold the town to someone else I don't care if I don't get the town, I just want my 80k back. And anyways the guy who owns it now is selling it.
1: me and brooke made a deal that brooke would pay 5k daily for 25 days. We made this deal 2 months ago and only 80k paid. Brooke did not follow through with this deal so I believe i do not owe brooke anything and i appologize for not giving u a heads up i was in a tight situation irl and didnt think i would be able to come back to ecc.

I never said I was a mod, nor was I trying to be one. I was ensuring that any applicable evidence was added to the complaint before a moderator had a chance to look at it.

Unfortunately yes, Im afraid you have found out the hard way that its critical that you take screenshots of all transactions and contracts, You may be able to speak to the new town owner and figure something out, but thats the only thing you can do. I will still leave this open just incase to the set time above.
I know I am not supposed to post and I apologize I have never done this before. The quote shows him admitting she paid him 80k not sure why she should lose money she received nothing for. Maybe I am not familiar with the rule that allows this if there is one I am sorry I brought this up. Yes I know she owed the money but does he have a contract that says he can sell the town and keep all monies paid. This is the kind of thing that makes people want to quit and to be honest we cant afford to lose more people.
From what i see, @brookegoldenberg payed 80k to @bmanvman but failed to complete payment on the town? Making him go and sell to another player? Am i correct in this? As we dont know the full extent of the originally contract, i dont know how much was agreed to be payed and how much of the payment was payed off. So yes he payed him 80k but fromt he sounds of it over a period of 2 months when he was meant to pay 5k daily for a time period i have not been shown. So because you havent made a contract or got any screenshots, we cannot tell who is in the right and wrong.
here bman says 5k for 25 days which totals to 125k brook has made 2/3 of the payment but the real question is why doesnt bman give brook the money back unless this is not the whole contract idk but im sure @bmanvman will say what the full contract was
@bmanvman we have determined that since neither player completed the in game contract that you made with each other and you have already sold the town to someone else without giving her the opportunity to pay the rest for the town or submitting a complaint about the failure to pay, you are required to pay @brookegoldenberg the 80k she paid for the town. I have discussed this with another staff member and have determined @bmanvman has to pay back 80k to @brookegoldenberg in 14 days, plenty of time to pay the debt back. This put the payback date to: 19th November 2014 Feel free to file another complaint on the 20th November 2014 if the full payback has not been received. Thread Locked Mission001
