    Complaint:
    Town sold illegally, no eviction notices given.

    Additional Information:
    I was randomly pm'd by barbaricbuffalo and asked if I could remove my locks from a chest. I asked him why and what chest. He teleported me to a town I bought a 40x40 plot in for 15k less than a week ago. He then informed me that he purchased the town some time today for 50k and asked me to remove my lock on a chest I had on my property. I informed him I would need permissions to the town to do so. He gave me permissions and I quickly contacted nicit6 about town eviction laws. He told me that I have a right to every block I placed on the land I purchased. So as I was removing these blocks, several builders logged on and asked why they could not access their house. One got extremely upset and logged off, my guess is to never return to the game. Another once accepted it as a loss and moved on. I tried to tell them to file a complaint but builder are builders... I contacted weirdbuilder to see if he could help these builders. He was very helpful and asked me to file a report. So I am filing this report on behalf of myself and all the builders being scammed out of their items and do not know the rules well enough to know that isn't how this server works. I have recovered all my blocks but there are other that have not. I normally wouldn't file a report like this but there are people being affect here that do not know how to properly defend themselves, and they are unaware of how supporting this server's community is... despite the few people that try to ruin it!

    Hello xHigh420x, thank you for bringing this to staff attention. For the benefit of the staff, do you know who owned the town prior to BarbaricBuffalo?

    Also, @BarbaricBuffalo, Could you please come in and explain the situation from your perspective? At the moment, it seems that you may not have filed a proper eviction notice before removing users from the town. Does such a notice exist? If so, a link or evidence of it would be appreciated.

    Thanks Core_Devider for helping us with this situation. I have sold over 10 plots to builders who have payed good amounts for there property. I know the previous owner of the town and i wasn't sent anything that informed me about the selling of the town. i have lots of things in the town that i own and are no longer going t be mine. I am sorry to all the builders who payed for there plots and i hope we can do something to work on this. Thank you all. The owners were: Boybiggumz, WARPAINT56, parkerbh, and ghostsjack01. we all had property and were using it frequently. WARPAINT56 and Boybiggumz are the main owners of the town. please contact them and the new owner, @BarbaricBuffalo thanks again

    Then I would like to tag @BarbaricBuffalo once more, as well as @WARPAINT56 and @BoyBiggumz, and ask each of you if there is any evidence of a removal notice, eviction post, or any other evidence to explain the issue at hand. Quite simply, even without a notice, all users in that town have rights to their items, and I would very much like to see them given the time to reclaim those items. Please respond at your soonest convenience.

    I was sold it last night and I was told no one has been in the town for how ever long. I will start posting eviction notices. I never ment this to be a problem but if it becomes one I will handle it.


    Edit:
    As a part 2. I bought this town to flip and if any builder would like a plot in my town they may have one that is double the size of the original plot that they have like

    Original 10X10 - I will give them a 20x20

    That was my intention first and I was waiting for people to contact me on this issue.
    If you were knowing anyone who is in this issue I will settle them in to my town of skymark, which is a better town with a portal, public pumpkin farms and public tree farms.

    If you would like me to demolish your house in the town I bought to flip and give you all that material back I will.

    I am willing to co-operate in the actions.

    That's great that you are willing to give the items back, however some damage is already done and some people do not know how to contact you to get their items back. Other users have left the server because they think your actions are normal here. Moving past that point, how are you going to contact the members of the town now that they have all been removed? It's not their job to contact you, according to town eviction laws.

    I would also like to ask, why you bought a town that did not go through the proper methods of eviction? Even before you bought the town a simple /rg info would have shown it was a town with more than enough people to warrant an eviction post.

    Last I checked, I was the only user left with perms to the town, if you have the list of users that were part of the town before the mass perms removal, then you were aware of the number of members of the town and knowingly broke the eviction laws.... but to answer your question, yes I would like to see it.

    It was sold to me by both and yes I have screen shots of the whole conversation and I will post as soon as I am done with my school

    And I will get on ecocitycraft and add back all the other users. As soon as that is done I will give them the proper 3 day notice of eviction.

    Also I Was informed by @parkerbh was informed by @WARPAINT56 that the town was being sold so i would like to see if the logs are saying that or if i was lied to. When this deal was going on it was recorded by @WARPAINT56 and was on teamspeek so if there is any dispute over is the town was sold or not mods may check there.

    This isn't my first town i bought.

    Even if parkerbh was informed, it doesn't change the fact that none of the other town members were informed... or the fact that plots were being sold hours before the town was allegedly sold to you... it seems very odd to me that town ownership would be passed after numerous plots had been sold that very same day. So I find it very hard to believe that you or the old mayors thought this was an inactive town.

    I am still at school until about 4:30 pm. I am agreeing and apologizing for my actions last night and i will give plot owners that live in the city a 20X20 plot in my town assuming that it was a 10X10 they owned now and i will let them demolish all there building now in the town but the sale of the land was a finalized and captured.

    Secondly: I will be posting Eviction notices up at the town today around 4:45 cst.

    I hope we can work something out.

    That is great news, I hope the screenshots will show who had plots in the town so you can restore their permissions to claim their property.

    I also hope the screenshots will show who exactly sold you this town so we can inform them of the correct and legal method of selling a town.

    It's great that you are offering to upgrade plot sizes but that is also shocking news considering you are going to flip the town. I would strongly advise any member of this town to consider your previous statement before re-investing in this town.
    If you do sell this town, I hope you follow the server rules on how to legally sell a town.

    Also it is only a temporary thing it is just going be until i flip it and then they will get there plots in town back

    @BarbaricBuffalo, thank you for your efforts to remedy the situation. Please be sure that in any removal of town members, you do a check of their activity and issue proper notice before you issue any removal commands.

    @xHigh420x, as the user who filed the complaint, are you satisfied with this as an outcome?
