If I can say something, I think this stems from people who were selling renamed items as a joke, like these "magic sticks" that I bought for fun. For the magic sticks (which I will state again seemed to be auctioned at the same time as this complaint), it seemed most people knew they were just renamed items as there was no lore attached. Granted, these items started at $10 or $100 for the stack in auction and not the 50k Troll Auction
I would not have cared at all had the player just refunded the amount when I pm and asked him. Even after Clar advised him to give back the money he never did. Clar had to take the money from his account to refund me. So the main reasons this is even filed is he scammed and refused to give back the money. He did not listen to a mod and an admin.
This incident was noted and I already reversed all that happened. Closing the complaint as done and handled. Auction policies are being reviewed.
