Felon Username: **7amoodw, SmorezsComplaint: I am new here you see, BUT I can read. Tonight I was having a casual conversation with some one. In fact what was said " They finally decided to add lamb chops to the game" and I replied " I know 1.8 is cool, I have been playing on a vanilla 1.8 server and all the new features are fun!" Then I was told by a Supermod "**7amoodw, Smorezs" "Evolution_Void do not mention other servers here" Now here is the problem......I didnt list a IP/NAME and tell people to go join it... as for its against the rules its called..."Advertising" What I did was simply state the fact I have played Vanilla 1.8 and it was fun... I did not see anywhere in the "rules" that I couldn't make reference that I play somewhere else...... Just kind of rubbed me the wrong way i don't think that's anyway to treat people... making up your own rule and stuff and being a Chat NAZI!Evidence: Additional Information:
Hello @Evolution_Void I would like to address the situation you had in-game. You have unintentionally discussed 'other servers' while you were talking about how fun 1.8 is. I am glad you are enjoying the new update however, we do not allow the discussion of other servers as per our server rules found here. Here is the rule you broke to be specific : I hope everything is more clear than before now. While you didn't mention any name or IP, you have discussed another server by simply stating what you said in chat. Knowing that you didn't intend on doing so, I decided to give you a verbal warning. I gave you it just to ensure it wouldn't happen again, as you're fairly new and may not be 100% familiar with all of our server rules. I hope that I have explained everything and where that rule had came from, pm me in-game if there's any problem you may encounter as I may be able to help you. My deepest apologies if I have done anything wrong, by no means did I intend on that. One last thing, all staff complaints are to be sent to ServerAdmins or the ServerOwner. If you do wish to report a staff member, feel free to do so with a forum mail. Locked
