Minecraft Name: CamoElite19 Suggestion: The town warp application should be updated as it is not too specific on the requirements. Reason: This will be a good idea as it would show the players who are applying for a town warp exactly what information they need to apply. It will also save time for staff as they will not have to then re-read the application to see if changes have been made if any were missed. Other Information: So the application asks you for your town name. When I completed my warp application I had all the details there that it said to have such as the town name and coordinates of the warp. I checked back to see if it had been accepted and @a_man21 said I would need to post the link of my application for the town the warp is for and that I would also need to place a sign on the block I wanted the warp to be on. What should be changed: Instead of only asking for the towns name, ask to provide a link to the application for the town. Ask them to place a sign where they want the warp to be.
Not sure why people don't read the in depth instructions when it literally says 'You must read these!'
@GeorgiaMC I completely failed at this lmao. I did read the in-depth just completely missed that bit out, sorry.
Adding the sign rule in the footnote is not that bad of an idea seeing as how many people actually don’t read the rules.
Alternate suggestion: Bring back the fines for improper apps so that people actually read the rules before putting them in
I think they had the warning (i dont know if its still part of the mayor application but when i did it, there was a warning saying that incorrect applications will have fines)
If I remember correctly, the fines were if anything in the app was incorrect. I think this was removed because people accidentally miscount the amount of blocks between signs (i.e accidentally making a boundary of 199x200) and getting fined for that. As much as I want to see this reimplemented, the punishment of having to wait essentially 2x the amount of time per error is good enough
I do not remember anyone being fined for something like this, especially since almost every single town is 201x201. What we should fine for, is when someone puts in a town warp application and doesn't put down a sign indicating where the warp should be and facing what direction. Or posting without the appropriate funds, or not completing all the questions on the app.
