    Suggestion: My suggestion is that stealing from chests, furnace, etc should be illegal and treated the same way greifing is. How is stealing from another player less of a bad thing as breaking a block or two?

    If your chests are getting stolen from, lock them. Unlocked chests are free game.

    As much as I like the suggestion, it wont happen. If the user gets stolen from then (sadly) it is his fault for now exercising the privilege he has of locking his items.

    stealing from an unlocked chest is a fair and if this were to happen i feel like it would be abused Also lock your chest if you dont want to lose your items

    Just do /lock. If you're stupid enough to forget to do /lock then it's fair game if you lose your stuff.
