Minecraft Username: AGPBiohazard Brief Description: LWC no longer seems to be counting total locks. I noticed this a few days ago but I thought it just took a bit of time for LWC to update the database. Instructions: Simply /lock or /cprivate something such as a furnace, chest or door. How many times did you recreate this bug?: 100% of the time. Result: Unlimited locks. Expected Result: For the total used LWCs to go up when you type /climits Evidence: Just try it in game.
From my testing, your lock count does not increase when you lock a door or obsidian. EDIT1: and furnaces EDIT2: and enderchests EDIT3: and anvils EDIT4: and signs and chests, I think it's everything
I can also confirm this. I tried locking a door, enderchest, sign, and regular chest. They did not increase my lock count. However if you /unlock something, it seems to subtract it from your total. If you then lock the object again, it does not count it.
Does it allow you to go above your limited number of LWC's? Meaning over 300 locks for mayors, etc. Maybe it's counting them, just not updating the number. Just a thought. I would test myself but I have unlimited LWC donation.
Tested by accident. I had 380/500 LWCs before expanding my vault today. I forgot to count how many blocks I placed, assuming that the limit would stop me. If I remember correctly, it might have been 3-4 stacks of obsidian...result: 365/500 LWCs. (Deleted 15 in the process of redesigning). What should I do now - unlock my vault again? EDIT: Something that might be interesting to find out...what happens when you create new locks that don't count and then break them all which counts? Can you go to negative amounts then?
Works again. Time to tear down my vault then and see how many LWC's I can afford. EDIT: The bugged LWC's are removable without decreasing the LWC count.
