Minecraft Username: nickysan99 Brief Description: Was able to /own a tool that already was owned by another user Instructions: 1. obtain an owned item 2. use /own 3. the item will now have two names How many times did you recreate this? 1 out of 1, was able to /own two other tools that had IDs but no names on them (might be a different problem) Result: One ID but two names for "own" on tool Expected Result: I think it was supposed to give an error saying that the item is already owned Evidence: One screenshot of the item is attached.
Issue with name changes and tool lore. If you change your name, none of your tool's lores automatically convert over. You'll need to re-own the tool under your new username, otherwise everything will be the same. If you happen to remove ownership of a tool without first re-owning it under your new name, the username lore will fail to clear and will stay stuck on the tool. When an alt removes ownership from an old tool after changing their username: Then if I own on it, the username on the lore stays stuck: In this case, @NickySan99's tool was owned by @HelixInsight under his old name of MCHelix3000 and ownership, still under the old name was removed and then owned by @raZesonar and, finally, @NickySan99. As such, the old name stuck to the lore.
At this time, if you should happen to come across a tool with two names, you can ask staff to regenerate the tool for you and burn the old one. Bug added to our development to-do list, however no exact information as to how soon we will get to it.
I had unowned this tool and gave it to razesonar, and now I'm not sure how Nickysan99 has an eff5 axe owned by me or raze?
Speaking to raze, he did not give it to Nicky nor interacted with this user. I hope Nicky does not take advantage of a bug to steal a tool that was rightfully another person's.
Hello, I didn't give anyone anything. Helix gave me the axe and no one else was given it. I was under the impression it was in one of my chests or on my person when I logged off.
Your tool was unowned and in an unlocked chest, which was taken, with or without permission, by Nicky. In any case, you should ensure that all your tools are properly owned and stored in locked chests. No bugs were "abused" here.
