this is in mining. I tag them and they live through baby stages. then they grow up, drop a scute, and die like they were reaped. no damage or drops. I have a hatchery setup in mining to stop stacking if you have 4 hrs to kill watching it but I am up to 8 times for 8 eggs now.
Ah yes, the mining world has a forced animal butcher that doesn't pay any attention to name tags. This happens every 10 minutes and should also affect stacked mobs.
