http://imgur.com/a/lwRI1#0 There's more in this album than on the thread. I went to a tulip farm... Apparently there is a million total tulip bulbs... Used my mom's DSLR and lens that came with it (roughly 5mm-41mm?) and my dad's telephoto lens (41mm-60somethingmm). As well, used my point-and-shoot, which is about 5mm-60somethingmm, but it didn't really get the same focus and blur... I'm too lazy to do any post-processing right now, lol. Everything in this photos is natural and unaltered. It was very, very sunny. (Every photo was an experiment, btw. I'm taking a Digital Photography class and doing my senior graduation project on photography.)
I don't think automatic zoom is a thing. o.o Do you mean focus? I was using manual zoom (move ring on the lens) with my mom's camera, and a little dial-knob thing on my point-and-shoot (which is..manual, just not on the lens itself). For focus, I was just using basic/standard auto focus because there was more than enough daylight and the subject was simple. My camera is Fujifilm FinePix F500EXR. Don't know what model my mom's is, but I think the make/brand was Olympus. EDIT: My camera specs: http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/specifications/f/finepix_f500exr/
(Yeah auto focus, sorry I was being derpy) And pretty nice camera. Do you ever plan on getting a camera with exchangeable lens?
