tree faller is glitching it is dropping more leaves then saplings. video of this. note i do not have silk touch on this ax on a side note when using tree faller i all so noticed i get oak leaves as well as jungle leaves
I'm not sure that's a glitch, I think it's meant to drop only leaves. You then dig up the leaves to get saplings.
It's a glitch. When I use it, I get no leaves and I get just saplings and logs. (I haven't tested since reading this thread.)
I didn't have internet the past couple of days at home, so I couldn't confirm. I can now confirm that I am experiencing this glitch as well. No saplings are dropping, only leaves when Tree Feller is used.
