Minecraft Name: Outerlocal Suggestion(s): Increase the minimum amount of blocks that a new town can be placed from an already existing town, without the permission of that town owner. Reasons: Under current laws towns can be placed within 15 blocks of another town, without permission from the town owner. Personally, I think that 15 blocks is ridiculously close. Even though there's tons of untouched world to place a town on, if somebody wants to place a town basically right on the border of mine, I am powerless to do anything. I think it would make more sense if the law was increased to something larger, such as 50 blocks from an already established town. This would allow players who want to join 2 towns together to do so with the permission of the town owners, and players who don't want other towns near theirs to have a reasonable space between any new towns and their own. Increasing the minimum distance would result in less upset over the issue, and would also mean that towns are more spaced out, which in my opinion is a good thing.
I agree with this suggestion. Having 50 blocks distance also allows for builders to build houses that don't take up the entire small distance and really make a congested, hideous space between towns. :/
I have to completely agree with this suggestion. With all of the space we have on the server, there is -no- reason why people should go and plop their town 16 blocks away from yours.
