What are the current reasons you need to re-claim a town? and are there any way you can't re-claim it by eg. You want it back Please Help!
Then you need to PM andrew about it with the reason why you want the town back and he would then decide it im not sure from there what would happen but i presume you would get it back.
I just dont want to look like i used the owner, he filled most of the town and has started building but i now have a use for the town and it might look like i was using the guy i sold it to
You could try talking to the person who you sold it to and see if they will sell the town back to you
Greetings, As someone who has had2 towns ripped out from under him, andrew pretty much just gives you the town back with no questions asked. Even to someone who sells a town to you with which you have mulitple screenshots and then a week later comes back to ECC and changes his mind without refunded your money or even talking to you. ... ... No I'm not bitter. As being on the other side of what you are asking. I would talk to the current mayor and see about maybe granting him/her perms or a plot for free. Or other compensation. But technically, as the original owner, it is your town, you can ask for it back for any reason at any time.
Last I heard, as long as you have some kind of proof/evidence that you could could reclaim the town, or it was just taken right from under you, you have the right to take it back. This especially includes broken contracts. I had been told it needs to be a valid reason, though, or else you couldn't just take the town back (some people would abuse this for money). Also, speaking of contracts; if you made a contract with the guy and it says you cannot take the town back, then I do not know if you can take it back or not.
Greetings, Just one more example to illustrate the point. I still have the Private conversation saved when I tried to stop an owner from "reclaiming" his town from me. And this is part of the response I got from the staff: "The way WeWin and Andrew operate town transfers is that they are not server approved. As far as they are concerned when it comes to town disputes and ownership reversions, it gets reverted to whoever has their name on the application for a particular town, regardless of agreements in place otherwise." The staff agreed I had all the correct screenshots and the proof I was sold the town. But that wasn't the issue. The issue was that 'towns technically cannot be sold." It is your town if your name is on the app. It doesn't matter who paid you money to run it.
